Christin Alysabeth Gilbert Died From a Third-Trimester Abortion
On January 13, 2005, a healthy 19-year old disabled
girl named Christin Alysabeth Gilbert died at a hospital in Wichita,
Kansas, from complications to a third trimester abortion procured at Women’s
Health Care Services, and abortion mill owned by the notorious George R.
Tiller. An employee of Tiller's, Nebraska
late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart was
responsible for Christin's abortion.
Christin’s tragedy is perhaps
the best-documented abortion-related death in the history of Roe v. Wade.
There have been
many efforts to bring those responsible for Christin's
death to justice through the courts and other legal
means. Because of massive political corruption in
Kansas, those efforts, which included a grand jury
investigation and two requests for investigation by the
Kansas State Board of Healing Arts, were
thwarted.
Finally, in
May, 2009, Tiller was murdered in Wichita, Kansas, an
act that we firmly denounce. As a result, the
Tiller family permanently closed Women's Health Care
Services, ending any hope of holding Tiller and Carhart
legally responsible for Christin's death.
Christin was an
innocent victim in every sense. As a victim of
sexual assault, she never made the decision to have sex
or get pregnant. Christin's parents made the
decision for her to have an abortion. She did not
deserve to suffer the consequences of other people's
"choices."
Please read her
story. We pray that by presenting this
information, it may save others from suffering
Christin's fate.

Note,
LeRoy Carhart has threatened to open a
late-term abortion mill in either Nebraska or Kansas to
replace the closed WHCS. Please pray that this
would not be done.
